Return policy is worth nothing

We bought a clothing rail on takealot.We received the item and set it up the same day and realized it was too small for what we needed. We logged a return request on the website the same day. Feedback wes received from takealot : The cx installed the item Item has been used For a quick and easy return.

This is rediculous, I explained to them we didn't use the product just set it up but then realized it's too small..

I'll never buy through takealot again.
