Return and warranty policy flawed

I bought an electronic kids s****** in November 2921 and the motor stopped working in January, while under 6 months warranty. Takealot is refusing to fixvthe s****** due to a damage at the rear. The rear damage has nothing do do with the motor. How do you go back and buy from such people. I spent almost R15K on them in November and this is how they treat their customers.
