Replacement being rejected

I order the JBL CINEMA SB160 2.1 Soundbar from takealot.com on the 9th of August 2021 .

The soundbar stopped working on the 28th of November 2021 , I didn’t even have the product for a year.

I logged a return for the product , the product was collected from my house in the condition it was received. When the drivers came to pick up the parcel I informed them that I do not have the original packaging and they told me to wrap it in plastic which I did . The soundbar was the only problem however they requested I return the remote and the subwoofer(which was not damaged)aswell .

I received a email from Mariska. M stating that they will not replace my product due to the fact that the subwoofer was dented and they blame me for not packaging the product correctly. Their drivers didn't check if the product was dented, they suggested that I wrap it in plastic but I get blamed for a product being dented on the way to their premises.
