REPAIR PROCESS A SHAMBLES
I have been trying since 5 July 21 to resolve a repair of a blender I bought. It had a two year warranty and a year in the handle snapped off and was necessary in order for it to clip into the base and work, so I asked for it to be replaced. They initially rejected the claim and said it was out of warranty, then when I took a screenshot of the warranty of 24 months, they accepted a return but for review only. A week later it was received by the supplier who quoted me to repair it which I accepted and paid. Takealots site showed that it was cancelled however on 21 July the supplier (TEVO) quoted to repair. I paid and repair was completed and sent back to Takealot. This process took around 4 weeks all in all. It was returned to me with one of the accompanying pieces which was not part of the original problem - broken in half in the packaging. 5 August I started the process again trying to resolve it with them. This has now been going on with both TEVO and Takealot for more than 6 weeks and still no one has any answers. I get redirected from Tevo back to Takalot who say they will escalate it. Does anybody know what is going on in either establishment? All I want is the part back working. Please.
