Reluctant Service & Effort for Delivery to Collection Change
In the past, within this year and prior, i have had delivery orders from Takelaot which were unable to be delivered. But competent call agents have always made reasonable effort upon request to have this changed to collect at Brackenfell collection point, which is 5min from my work and 10min from my home.
Considering the fact the order is returned to collection point when delivery cannot be completed, i cannot rationally understand (even though it gets repeated like a mantra by takelaot) why they basically now want to refuse change the delivery to collection. All i was consistently told by relevant call agent was they "cant do that" and how the supervisor would say the same thing (when asking to speak to supervisor). Obviously when dealing with people who keep making the same excuse and make no effort to check if anything can be, your bound to get seriously and unnecessarily upset. When i eventually spoke to the supervisor i had to assert what i wanted done, only than was an effort "said" to be made in order for delivery to be changed to collection. This is a constant and increasing trend i have noted with many large companies these days, how reluctant their service & staff become. Not to mention the degree to which they are willing to assist. All i"m asking is change a delivery(which is paid for) to collection(which wont cost any additional fuel and labor), yet i'm being treated like some irrational crazy person who isn't making time during work to check on this matter. Don't get me wrong i have received received great products and service in past, when there were minor or no faults. But these days its becoming more frequent that companies like Takelot will only properly assist customers within there new limited service guidelines. Heck, two years ago i could have contacted Bracknefell collection point directly to hold order for me to collect(with some security verification of course). Guess i'll have to start using normal and other online shops more from now on.
By making more of these type of terms & procedures(or changing existing ones to benefit only the company) only shows how little customers are valued. So much for service or effort these days.
