Rejected returned order - Order Number: ***0

On 25/10/2018 I ordered a camping chair and car phone & GPS holder, and it was delivered on 31/10/2018. The phone & GPS holder I was fine. But I surprised to find the camping chair full of dust, it was clearly not cleaned when leaving the warehouse. I was also disappointed because it was a very small camping chair, for kids. I couldn't use it. I then decided to put it back in the box, and log a return.

A few days later, a guy on a s****** came to collect the camping chair. It was still in a box in the boot of my car. I went there with him. He said he just want the camping chair because the box would not fit in his small s******. I specifically asked if it would not be a problem if he left the box, he said NO, they just need the parcel.

On 11/11/2018 I received an e-mail from Tariro Mutengezanwa saying my return had been rejected because: 1. It was not in its original packaging 2. It was dirty

I then responded to state the above facts. Today, on 12/11/2018, I received another feedback from Euan August, confirming the rejection of the return again.

I want to state this again: 1. The parcel was dirty when I received it. It was full of dust obviously gathered from takealot warehouse. Clearly parcels are not checked properly when leaving the warehouse, you only check when it's returned. 2. The guy came with a small s******. How is it my fault that the box (original packaging) could not fit in the s******. NB: I asked him if it would not be a problem, and he said NO, they just want the parcel and not the box.

I had faith in takealot.com and thought I would get proper service, but i'm highly disappointed with the service I got. I still need to get a proper camping chair that i expected when I placed the order. Thank you
