Refusal to refund account :( Return Reference: RRN-ca6d-dbc6

<p>I purchased a 10GB Telkom Mobile Data voucher. The voucher did not work initially. I made other arrangements to get the data as I am studying online through GetSmarter I needed the data right away to make my assignment deadline.</p> <p>I asked that Takealot refund my account but they say that digital products can not be returned.<br />Their website clearly states that:</p> <p><br />Telkom Mobile Data</p> <p>Dial *188* Pin Number# to recharge / SMS Pin to 188</p> <p>Please note the following:</p> <p>1. No reversals of a transaction shall be permitted once a Voucher has been redeemed by a client.<br />2. The Voucher is deemed to have been delivered to the client once the voucher number has left our system.<br />3. Sales of Prepaid Products are Final and returns cannot be accepted.</p> <p>Looking at point 1: I did not redeem the voucher because it never worked on my LTE line.<br />Nowhere does is state the conditions of this product, like what kind of line you need to have.</p> <p>I have a Telkom Mobile LTE line on contract which does allow for top-ups but the Voucher did not work so now I would like my Takealot account to be credited.<br /><br />I am still a great fan of Takealot, I just hope that they see my point of view on this matter.</p>
