Refusal to provide code for gift voucher bought for me by my. Colleague

A colleague had recently purchased a gift voucher to the value of R500 and had forwarded me the mail where takealot had indicated that they had forward the voucher number to my email address. To date I have received no voucher number and upon enquiring, as I wanted to purchase an Epson printer, they refused to co-operate saying that my colleague is the only one who can intervene, this despite the fact that I can provide them with the order number as well as the original mail indicating that code was sent to me. The service is disappointing to say the least.
