Refusal to accept return of defective product..
6 Months ago I bought a Techniblock product form Kalahari (now Takealot). The product was never used or opened and safely stored in a cupboard at room temperature. Two nights ago, I heard what sounded like a gas leak, coming from the cupboard where it was stored. The product had leaked out all over the inside of the cupboard.<br> <br> Since the product was in a pressurised container, and was at risk of potentially exploding, I covered it with a thick towel before removing it from the cupboard where it was stored. Once the product had finished venting, I checked to see when the expiry date was... SEPTEMBER 2016!<br> <br> The product was obviously defective, so I submitted it for return to Takealot, and was refused by Jason Petersen, apparently for the following reason:<br> <br> [\* We can't offer exchanges

Based on what you've described here it does sound like the product is faulty and we've therefore instructed our complaints team to liaise with our returns department to look into this request again and correct any oversight found on our part.
