Read this before deciding to be a seller on the Take A Lot Platform

I have been on take a lot as a seller for 1 month. In order to sell on Take A Lot, you need to make your products ridiculously expensive because the fees to use the platform are utterly ridiculous.

I cant wait for Amazon to come to South Africa, later this year so that Take A Lot loses it seller base. It is ridiculous, because you end up buying stock only to just pay fees on Take A Lot.

It is ridiculous that you have to make a product ridiculously expensive in order to even break even.

Their business model really sucks. Sucession fee, Fulfilment fee. VAT, and monthly fee does not make it worthwhile for sellers.

I now understand why people are giving up on this Take A Lot platform. It is just ridiculous.

Over and above that, the returns policy is hurting the seller. The buyer uses the product and returns it because they say "Its not what they ordered", only to find that the packaging has been ripped and you cannot resell it!!!

I really used to wonder why Take A Lot was so expensive before becoming a seller. Now I know and it is an utterly ridiculous business model. Doesn't make sense
