R7999 for nothing

I purchased a R7999 cellphone, returned it, takealot refused the refund and sent a mail telling me that the original packaging, 45W charger and ejection tool was required for the refund. The original packaging and original charger (which is 33W!) was indeed included, only the ejection tool potentially was not - a cheap little metal pin!

They told me in that mail they would try return it (temporary address I was no longer at) and if unsuccessful would dispose of it. I was unfortunately in hospital and unable to even check the email. R7999 down the drain and no product returned!!
