R4500 defective laptop refund refusal thanks to takealot

I purchased a brand new laptop from them. A week later it gave me a black and white jumping screen. The item was defective. They refused and declined my refund due to being unable to delete the Microsoft account. It is an absolute ridiculous reason when you can simply delete the account or ask the person for those details in order to remove it. I spent R4500 on complete trash and poor communication from such a company.
