Questionable quality items to be checked before delivery

Ordered a camping table, and put the boxed item away when it arrived. We went camping two weeks later, and upon opening the box, I noted a hole on the surface of the table. I immediately reported the defective item. The courier company collected the broken table, but delivered the same table two weeks later. I never signed the waybill, and returned the table again. On my profile, the return was declined, without reason being provided. I phoned the call center to clarify matters and the consultant Phoebe just made me more upset about this debacle.
