Quality issue

I bought a breadbin from Takealot on the 21 Sept 23, and the quality of the bread bin is not to my satisfaction I then logged a return for the bin on the 12 Oct. Take a lot declined my request saying I should have logged the return within 7 days whilst their website says 30 days. The bin is flimsy to say the least. And I would like my money back so I can order something else. This is the 2nd bin from this brand that I buy the 1st one I have had for 3 years, and it broke. This one we used for a week and it is clear that it will not last. It is made cheaply and not worth the amount paid for it even if it was on sale.
