Putrid product at Takealot

So i bought some 18 inch hair extension from Takealot .com.it arrived today.what a disappointment.the hair is not 18 inch its thin and the length is unequal.not as advertised on the add.when i tried to return the product as it is not what i ordered it show not returnable.my questions is.does the consumer act not say i have the right to return a product if is not as advertised and do i not like with any other purchase have a cooling off period.why wood Takealot which is a big company con people out of their hard earned money.i want a refund as it is not as advertised.
