Proline laptop - no gaurantee after purchase

<p>My wife purchased a Proline Laptop for me in February 2015. Recently it just died and doesn't switch on. I contacted Takealot help line and informed that they only have a six months guarantee. I was also told to log my query on their website where they can escalate it to Proline itself, however the query was out right rejected. If I had known then I would not allowed my wife to purchase from takealot. They did not provide us with any details that the laptop doesn't come with gaurantees or warrantees.
