Product ordered but cancelled by Takealot

To whom it may concern

I am a regular takealot user and I am very disappointed to be writing this review. I ordered a Shimano Aernos 4000 fishing reel that was advertised for R300 in the first week in October with delivery expected to take place on 7 October. I received an email today stated that there is no longer stock available and that my order has been cancelled. It is mentioned that a effort was made to source this item from the supplier but they were unsuccessful. At the time of my purchase stock was available or else my purchase would not have gone through.

However when I searched for this item again, after my purchase , this item was advertised at the price of R2 299 and it was available. It appears that there might have been a error made when this item was initially advertised however that is something that was out of my control.

I am not feeling convinced that every effort was made to source this item on my behalf and it appears that this item was advertised at the incorrect amount.
