Price ****

Takealot has always offered great sales service! But aftersales service has left me dissappointed. I came across a product "Outdoor Mini Bonfire - The REAL Man Candle" advertised for R198(sale) by supplier Charffee. I clicked on this product to purchase it, but in the cart the price changed to R220.00 without any notification. I queried this with Takealot and was told that thats is how the platform works. Charffee was out of stock so it automatically selects another supplier who may have a different price. I told them this is not in line with CPA as it was misleading advertising. I am still waiting for a resolution as a matter of principle.

This is almost the same as retailers like Woolies etc charging a higher price than the shelf price.
