Preorder Never Showed up as Promised

<p>I really feel very dissapointed in Takealot</p> <p> </p> <p>I preordered and paid a game two months ago, on the website it stated the delivery will be done today if the order is completed before 25Nov</p> <p> </p> <p>Today is the 29Nov. I phoned this morning and they said its on its way</p> <p> </p> <p>To my surprise I got a email this evening to apologise that they did not deliver because of the Black Friday Blue Dot sale the despatch was delayed</p> <p> </p> <p>Im sorry this is not acceptable you knew two months ahead of time I need this order and it was promised to be delivered today. Now people who ordered this weekend get their stuff first </p> <p> </p> <p>I am not impressed and what was the point of preorder on your website when you cant keep promises. </p> <p> </p> <p>I rep**** to the email and said I need to game tomorrow or I want a refund. because I could have bought it at the store.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I have to go to the store and pay couple of hundred rands more for the item because now its on demand over Christmas </p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to understand what is the point of a preorder on your website? I expect this item to be delivered tomorrow before 5pm, I paid full price for this months ago</p> <p> </p> <p>Even though I got a apology I was still not even told it will be delivered with priority, you guys actually just dont care because you already have the money </p> <p> </p> <p>Seriously not impressed with the level of service anymore </p>
