Pre-order was not received on time
I placed and paid for the pre-order of COD: Black OPS 3 on 6 Aug 15 (order number ***), which the Takealot website stated would be delivered on the release date 6 Nov 15. I was not informed of any delays of delivery and I had to phone Takealot a number of times for answers. I was told that my game would be delivered hopefully by Monday, 9 Nov 15 (3 days later). What was more frustrating is Takealot, was shifting the blame either to Skynet or Mr Delivery for not delivering the item on time. Do you even care? because you got your money from me, and the courier service gets their money from you so in the end it is the customer that suffers with bad service and disappointment.
I pre-order from Takealot not the courier services, so it Takealot that breached contract by not delivering on time!! Provision should have been made for this.
Being a gamer, I was deprived by Takealot, of the pleasure of being among the first to play the game that I have been waiting for and anticipating for months. So thank you for denying me that simple pleasure!!!!

Just so you know, an apology is and will never be sufficient, as you cannot make up for the disappointment!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
We've assigned this matter to our complaints team to further investigate with the relevant departments. We know the reason for pre-ordering is to ensure that you receive the game on the release day, so it's unacceptable that this didn't happen or that you've not been informed about any suspected delay. Our team will need a bit of time to investigate this, but they'll be in touch with feedback and assistance in getting your game delivered to you ASAP.
We understand that an apology doesn't make up for the disappointment caused, but we'd really like to make this up to you and will do our best to get this straightened out as quickly as possible.
Sincerely,
