Popcorn machine order via takealot

I placed an order on takealot over the weekend and made payment for the item. Received my date of delivery which was the 2nd of july, now i get told via email that my order is cancelled due to no stock. I think this is unacceptable as takealot took my money and now i have to wait for the money to be paid back to me. Shouldn't takealot have said no stock available before taking my payment. I just search on the app and there is popcorn machine available at a higher price. I have tried numerous time now customer care and still no luck
