POOR TAKEALOT SERVICE

I placed an order with Takealot on 01 August 2022. I received an SMS on Wednesday, 10 August 2022 that my order from Takealot was scheduled for delivery that day before 17:00. Nothing happened but on Thursday, 11 August 2022 I received a call from a courier driver who informed me that he could not deliver my order because he had too much to do. No delivery happened on Friday, 12 August 2022 either. In response to my email to Takealot on Friday, 12 August 2022, I received a reply that the order will be delivered on 16 August 2022. This is the level ( lack of ) of service which will have me supporting Amazon when they open in South Africa in 2023.
