Poor service, non-responsive, just generally unpleasant experience

I purchased a washing machine which arrived so manhandled that the shipping bolts were BROKEN, never mind bent. I was not sure what remedy I wanted, 1) a replacement unit, or 2) a refund. There is absolutely NO WAY for anybody to speak to a human being during this entire process. It is really so inefficient. I have logged numerous calls online and for 5 days now, not one person contacted me as I requested. And during all this time, my washing is piling up and I do not have a washing machine. PATHETIC SERVICE I will never in my life by anything from Takealot again.
