Poor service delivery from TakeAlot.com

I'm waiting 2months for my laptop to be returned to me, after they told me there is nothing wrong with it. There terms say that if they job will take 18days, then they will notify me of this early after receiving the item. They havent notified me 18 days into the process. Infact, I called them 18 days into the process to ask what the story is.

Its now been 2 months since they have my laptop, and more than a month since they told me my laptop will be returned to me, YET NO LAPTOP has been delivered. I've sent emails, some of which havent' been answered! PATHETIC service sums them up.

I have since found a better service elsewhere and way better pricing on my electronic items

Thanks for you pathetic service TakeAlot.com

Hello Rogerb007,

We are terribly sorry that your return was not sent back to you in time.

We do acknowledge that this was an error on our end and we appreciate you accepting our call and granting us the opportunity to look into this for you.

We have been communicating with our returns management team and we will reach out to you again with feedback in the morning.

Thank you for reaching out to me TakeAlot.com. On 1 August 2016, Maxeen that called me after I posted the above was really helpful. She asked me if I would prefer a refund, upon which I said Yes please. Then she calls me later to say, they asked me this question a few weeks back, and I said I don't prefer the refund.

What really bothers me about this experience is that they could have looked into the history of my conversation with them (email, or phone) if they had a half decent system to confirm that I asked for a refund, and they told me that I cannot have one. What is bothering is also that when she called me back, she says the Head of Returns (i.e. Karen) says I didn't want a refund, but rather a fix to the machine - so..........I would prefer a faulty product back instead of my money......really????????

To keep you updated: Its been a week since I logged this call, and I still don't have my laptop. In fact, they sent my laptop to an incorrect depot in JHB, when I'm in Cape Town. How did they get that right? Now I'm still waiting to see what the condition of this machine is after its traveled through the whole of South Africa.

I called in again this morning to find out where my laptop was. Tasneem was very helpful and assisted me, yet again, the question: Do you prefer a refund sir? - I told TakeAlot.com on 3 different occasions that that is my wish - a refund. A little after a half an hour, I get an email stating that unfortunately, I am getting the laptop back, irrespective of this whole 2 month journey that I had to endure

The email Tasneem sends says that the laptop will be delivered to the correct warehouse today. So, I'll post an update on this progress

Its now the following Monday. I even took initiative to DRIVE through to your premises to ask about the notebook on Saturday past. You couldn't even give me an answer on WHERE my notebook is.....

Again, I ask WHERE IS MY MACHINE, seeing that you STILL DO NOT WANT TO REFUND ME!!!!!!!!!!!
