Poor service and lies
I purchased a cell phone at takealot and the phone had a problem, it was not coming on. I took the phone to Samsung and Samsung advised me to take the phone to Vodacom so that I can get the phone repaired under warranty.
Vodacom needed the proof of purchase so that they can claim for the phone warranty. I then contacted takealot to get proof of purchase but the lady I spoke to said I must return the phone to takealot so that I can get a replacement of the phone. I then collected the phone from Vodacom and sent it to takealot. That was two months ago.
A week later I was told to send the headset and they said they can't start the process without them.
I waited and waited. , after two months of waiting takealot sent me an email saying that the Seller can not work on the phone because it got a password. My question was, why they never asked for the password?
The next thing when I came back home, just found the phone at home. I was not even told that the phone is being sent back. The phone is not starting.
Takealot can't keep their promises. I'm so annoyed.
