Poor service

I have ordered windows for my laptop. I entered the code but the product has expired. I returned item to takeslot but no refund processed as per contract if item opened it can not be returned. So tel me how am I to process the code on the back of card without opening envelope and why is takeslot selling expired items???? I need answers.....
