Poor delivery service by take alot

I placed an order on Tuesday June 29th 2021 for a Couch by take alot to the value of R8000 right. We received an email stating delivery will take place on Thursday July 1st 2021 in between 8am to 5am.

The package was never delivered and we never received a phone call from the driver they advised there was delay hence I stayed home all day waiting for takealot took a day off work no item was delivered.

On Friday July 2nd a driver from takealot came and said his delivering a package, funny enough he never had our package he stated that he left the couch at the warehouse and only took small items with him and promised he would make sure he go picks the item up same day and come back....after 2hours we checked online and the driver marked the package has delivered and signed for in which he never delivered the item!!!!

The information online was updated and another email we received saying the item will be delivered on Monday 5th July in between 8am to 5pm, once again no phone call received nothing and the driver said he made an attempt and left , I live at a complex apartment and they advised there was no carrier companies nor takealot was not here to have it delivered...when trying to call take alot I have been waiting on the line 40mins and then the call cut out automatically....firstly your drivers are unprofessional and secondly you as takealot cannot at all stand by the time or day of delivery I know a mistake can haoone once but 3 times in a row especially for the value of this item...I want to be compensated for this inconviencr I missed out 2days of work due to you guys not abiding by the dates your agreed to.
