Poor delivery service

In the past I have had very good service from Takealot and associated sites, but my latest order has me quite frustrated. I ordered on the 27th of December and one item had to be delivered to complete my order, which arrived around the 30th. The 31st I saw that it had been sent to be delivered. I completely understand that the 1st was a public holiday and that they would not have been working. But it was scheduled for Monday, then rescheduled for Tuesday. The last notice I got was yesterday when they said that my delivery would be rescheduled and that it was in my town. My town in tiny 2 1/2 km by 3 km, so where is my package and when will I be updated on it?
