Poor delivery service

I expected delivery of an expensive item yesterday. This is the most expensive item I ever bought from Takealot. I got an SMS from Takealot confirming delivery will happen before 5pm. Just to make sure I contacted the Call Centre twice to confirm that delivery will happen. Everything was in order. I could have been somewhere else but waited and waited and the courier didn't show up. There are no excuses. You just lost a valuable and loyal customer. You don't have any control and follow-up procedures over your scheduled deliveries.
