Poor customer service

I purchased a pair of shoes as a gift for my dad but the size I purchased is way big to how my dad's other shoes fit im the same size, so I called takealot and asked to exchange the shoe for a smaller size and I was told I cannot do it, so i requested for a supervisor and was told a manager will call me in 2 hours. It's going for 2 days now and still no 1 has called. I buy from takealot all the time . This is really poor service from you guys. I don't understand what is so hard to change something for a different size. This is a gift for a 70 year old I cannot expect him to wear such a big shoe ridiculous.
