Poor customer service

I purchased a Paklite suitcase that cracked 3/4 of way on my trip. Had to be fixed with cardboard and ducktape to flight back. Immediately I let Takealot know and send it in. After hearing nothing, I call, just to hear my request was declined due to: damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product.

I didn't get the suitcase of airplane cracked, it must have happened when I closed it. They said they would look further into it after I showed them a review of same problem with same suitcase. However, I have the suitcase back ... so all the promises of looking further was a lie as the product was already gone on way back to me. The Paklite *****th has a 30 month warranty ... Paklite was not even contacted to check ...

The wheels work fine. They say (as does Paklite), that something heavy was placed on it ... hey, how many suitcases are stacked?

This wasn't a cheap item. However, a case from Pep stores would have cost less and probably made the trip.

Takealot - I have lost confidence in you. Part of the reason was I live at coast??? (Terms and conditions) ... my son's router packed up and you said water damage. Router is plugged into TV ... dry area, but oh yes, we live at coast , so lets not even bother?

I have items I wanted to buy, but think not. Wayy too risky. Have taken the matter up with Paklite, hope they give joy . Doing the legwork that Takealot was too lazy to do.
