Poor customer service

I ordered a PS4 camera V2 from takealot. It took 6 days to arrive as it was coming from Joberg to Cape Town. When it arrived, i opened the box and instead of recieving the PS4 V2 camera I ordered, I received a pack of baby diapers and baby food.

I phoned takealot and advised them of this. I had to take photos and send through to them. I was then told to drop off at Montague warehouse in Cape Town.

I told them both on the phone and at the warehouse that I don't want credit. I want what I ordered. They said they will replace my unit and apologies for the mistake.

This morning I wake up to a notification that they credi d my account. I phoned back and asked for the unit and not credit.vthey said the supplier is out of stock by when I clicked on the item they credited back to me it's available in Cape town and Joberg now. But the price of the unit is now more expensive.

They told me there is nothing they can do and I have to reorder the unit at the new price which is more than what the first item was that they shipped as incorrectly to me in the first place.

I am utterly disgusted with the service I have received and that I have to pay more money for an item that what it was when I ordered it the first time.
