Poor Communication and service

I would like to express my disappointment with Takealot. I received a message that my order was out for delivery yesterday before 17:00. I was suppose to go to the bank to collect my new card and I waited for my delivery the whole day to no avail. No call or apology to say nobody would come through to deliver. Last night at 20:22 i received an sms stating that my order is delayed. I spent the whole day waiting and wasted an entire day because I did not want to any hassles with the deliver. This morning as early as 05:00 i get an sms stating that my parcel will be delivered today. My question though is who did you call to check with that I will be availbale at home today? Why was I not contacted to be informed of the delay? This is highly unprofessional to say the least. My order number is #***8
