Poor and unprincipled service from Takealot.
I was promised delivery today, I waited until 5pm as promised, the order was not delivered now they allege that I was not available to take delivery. I tried calling their call centre, held for 15 minutes with no response. This was my first and last time buying anything from Takealot. The service is stinks, their call centre is ineffective, the fail to honour undertaking and lack business scruples.

04 Dec 2019, 00:33Yesterday I was contacted by a Sharfaa Daniels and then Rhoda Williams who promised delivery by 11am that did not happen. I had indicated to both Daniel's and Williams to cancel the delivery if they cannot deliver before I leave at 11h00am. At 16h44 I got a call from some person who said he is about to deliver, and will call me in a few minutes. I made arrangements with a friend to collect the items for me at my place. 2 hours later my friend tells me no divery was made, so I call the number for the delivery guy and it is on voicemail. When I log onto the app to check what's happening, it says delivery problems, will reschedule. In all this time nobody called, wrote or smsed me to report back or advice of delays. Rhoda Willliams did not even bother to reply my emails despite offering lame apologies and empty promises. This is by far the worst service I ever got from an online shopping perspective. Their app is the worst and most useless I ever had to use. I wish them all the best with their business, but every dog has its day...
