Perfume not original

I recently purchased Cool Waters perfume for women and men. I have purchased this multiple times at various retailers so I am au fai with the quality and love the smell. Our perfume arrived and both my husband and I realised that after an hour the smell is completely worn off. We literally used it once and then logged a return. Takealot now refuses to refund the perfume saying its against their policy. I firmly believe that the perfume is not original and I am bitterly dissappointed in this outcome. I have been sent from pillar to post with various agents responding to my complaint and against my will, the perfume has now been returned. It is still in the sealed packaging as I refuse to use it. I paid the retail value so expected that the perfume would be original. I've purchased from Takealot a number of times and I am frustrated by the lack of customer service.
