Pay for guarenteed same day delivery and we will take 6 days to deliver.

I order a decent amount from takealot.com and I understand that deliveries can be a day late, it's understandable.

BUT this morning (09/01/2025) I ordered something that gave me the option of paying R 50 instead the usual delivery fee stating that it will be ready for collection between 1PM and 7PM today... Just after 2PM i checked the site thinking maybe I missed the SMS stating that my order is ready for collection and the delivery date had moved. Not to tomorrow, not Saturday or Sunday... No, Tuesday the 14th...

Takealot, how can you guys take my money for guarenteed same day delivery and then tell me it will take almost a week for my order to ve available for collection... Rather tell me upfront that it will only be ready NEXT TUESDAY... then I don't have expectations that I can collect this item tonight.

I am highly unimpressed to say the least
