Pathetic Takealot service- rather use Amazon

Absolutely pathetic service! Ordered a few items as a bulk purchase. Out of the 8 items ordered, 3 were delivered either in a non-working conditions, used condition and one with chewing gum stuck to the back of it. Below is the breakdown of issues. (Returns logged 04/12/2024) 1. Kids scooter ordered. Received in a box that was released and upon further inspection it could clearly be seen that the scooter was used. Chipped paint, scratched stickers... clearly played with. Feedback from Takealot.com, I am getting a refund because the item is no longer available, but on a quick check I just added the exact same scooter to my basket at double the price. Takealot, class act... not only did your fail to provide proper quality control but your also failed to replace a scooter and blatantly **** to a customer. 2. Vacuum sealer. Received box in good order, testing the vacuum sealer we found it to not be working. Logged the return and getting a replacement. 3. Wahl Clean & Smooth Cordless Facial Hair Removal Kit for Women Item received, Takealot packaging in good conditions, but, used chewing gum stuck to the back of the actual product!!!?? Takealot.com again, stellar quality control. you are quick to make promises, and take money but delivering quality seems impossible.
