Pathetic service - Long Overdue refund!!!!

Takelot refuses to refund

We have a complaint about the refund we are due from takealot. The refund is long overdue and they keep repeating that they have done the refunds on their side but Nothing has reached the account and we have submitted bank statements to prove we have not received refund amounts and we have gone to the bank 4 times to verify that the problem is not on the banks side of things.

I have dealt with the following people multiple times:

They are unable to understand anything - and it appears they also are unable to read the 4 bank statements we have submitted. (Why do I say they are unable to read the bank statement or even realize I have attached 4 bank statements - because they keep on asking us to send them the bank statements!)

To lodge a dispute at the bank costs R300.00. So to do this it actually costs us double what takealot owe us being R150.00.

Our bank has confirmed 4 times that the issue is not being held up by our bank. There are no funds showing as uncleared on our account. The bank has advised that although you Takealot say it has been paid it is obviously being held in suspense for some or other reason on your end Takealot.

Furthermore what makes no sense - originally when we sent the query to takealot they eventually refunded us the larger amount that was outstanding and this reached our account just fine so why oh why would our bank suddenly hold up a smaller refund of R149.00.

Just think of it - it takealot ****s every person out of R149.00 - just imagine how much money they sit with at the end of the day.

You takealot do not conduct business honestly - because if you did we would not be fighting for our refund. And from reading other complaints on social media - there are many many people fighting with you to get their refunds back.

I WANT SOMEONE IN THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT TO GET BACK TO ME!

Can we now get our refunds back!!!!
