Pathetic service from takealot delivery team!

Today I was expecting a parcel from takealot. I was not home and left the main gate open so the driver could come up and one of my family members could receive it. The driver calls me and tells me he is outside. I told him the gate is open and to go up he them proceeds to tell me that he is not allowed to do so and that he can lose his job. Now this is an absolute lie since I’ve had takealot deliveries in during the last few weeks and none of the drivers had issues comming up my driveway. This is absolutely nonsense cos what happens if it was a disabled person waiting for a delivery, should the person now walk out of his home and collect??? We pay soo much of delivery fees for what??? Also when placing an order on takealot the delivery option clearly states “Delivery to your door”. Get your act together takealot delivery team! Pathetic service!!!
