Pathetic service from Take a Lot selling broken returned goods online and refuse to refund or replace.

We received a gift from a friend and it was purchased at take a lot, when we opened the gift, it hand fingerprints, scratches and the electricity socket was broken. Now when we returned it,nwe are informed about a policy. How does Take a lot as a big business sell broken things and still have an audacity to refuse to exchange nor refund a product. This is really bad as such a big company. We really loved and needed that gift but we couldn't accept a broken thing straight from the the store. What a pathetic service from Take a Lot.
