Pathetic service

Pathetic service and utter ***** I would caution people about buying from Takealot. I purchased a set of Golf 6 GTI OEM mats from Takealot and collected the package on 6th February 2022. After opening the package a few minutes later at home I discovered that they provided the wrong set. I immediately went back to the Alberton Takelot Collection Warehouse and returned it. The person at the counter asked me to complete the return process via the online order process and provide him the reference number, which was done. I was promised that the correct product will be replaced in a few days time. I waited for quite some time before deciding to follow up. Takealot informed me that they had not received any returns and I need to take out pictures of the mats. I informed them that is not possible as I had already returned the mats to the Takealot Warehouse in Alberton (surely they could have app**** a bit of common sense and logic at this point). I kept on calling to follow up and was continuously asked to provide pictures of the mats. I finally decided to go to the Alberton Warehouse on 18 February 2022 and, guess what??? The mats were found at the Alberton Warehouse. Your internal processes are horrific and you have staff who are clearly useless. All I am asking is for my refund... I will not recommend your business to anyone. Bunch of *****.
