Pathetic Service
I have had a terrible experience with Takealot. I purchased an item that didn’t work and returned it. The driver who came to pick it up complained that he wasn’t paid enough to carry it from upstairs and made me feel awful in the process. It was a walking pad, too heavy for me to manage on my own.
I called Takealot for assistance, and all I got was a generic response: "We will get back to you."
Before even submitting the return, I had called to inform them that my card was replaced and asked if I could provide my new banking details. The agent said, "No, we’ll do it later."
The return was processed, but then I was left wondering where my refund was going. I made several calls, only to be met with indifferent agents giving me the same generic responses.
It’s incredibly frustrating—people don’t understand that not everyone has money to waste on this kind of back-and-forth. After multiple calls and emails, it's clear to me that Takealot’s customer service is among the worst I’ve ever encountered.
Can anyone help me resolve this?
Please download all my calls if you’re a reputable company and look at all my emails if you guys actually know how to track it

Online shopping for convenience is a joke. It’s a *******.
Dishonest service providers and there is really nobody who gives a hoot

Another email to say my funds went to a wrong account when nobody listened to me in the first place. Some of us don’t have money to mess around, but it seems Takealot thinks it’s fun
