Pathetic Service @ Southgate Pickup

I received a SMS to collect my order at the southgate pickup point in toti, order number ***, when I get there I was told to come back another time because their systems were down the entire day, so why did I get the SMS in the first place, wasting my fuel and navigating through rush hour traffic to pick up my item. Their section manager, Alicia Ballard was arrogant and unsympathetic and refused to apologize for any inconvenience and well simply made the consumer feel it was my fault. A simple resolution to this dilemma is for takealot to acknowledge that this is their fault, correct their systems not to send collection messages during system outages, and lastly have managers with a customer centric attitude. I trust takealot will deliver my parcel at no cost to my door..
