Pathetic service & abysmal customer support

Happy little me decides to upgrade my car sound system R3.5k later Takealot gives me an estimated delivery date of Wednesday 10th Jan For a set of speakers, Amp, subwoofer and wiring kit

Wednesday rolls around and no notification sms to be seen I hopped on to the app hoping to find a reason for this, only to see that there is no stock of the wiring kit, delaying my order to the end of the month Being on a time limit, I decided to phone takealot to ask if I could swap out or remove the wiring kit to speed up delivery They told me no, that's not a thing they can do (odd, but whatever) The gentleman on the line proceeded to tell me that the speakers I purchased are our of stock aswell, and they weren't going to get new stock on those speakers So he refunded my account so that I could order different speakers But, because takealot is not a car audio place, this proved to be impossible So I called again, asking for a refund on everything except the subwoofer

They gave me a new eta of Thursday 11th Jan End of Thursday, no delivery I call takealot, they tell me they will follow up with the courier as they have it I was also told that I would receive an email to tell me what was going on I only got a support ticket, so I emailed them and they told me the delivery is delayed Sent a new eta of 12 Jan And repeat events of Thursday Monday comes, still no delivery Exact repeat of Thursday and Friday Decided to leave it on Tuesday and hope they would fulfill their already late promised deadline Nope

Wednesday now, I've been told that the courier has my delivery

I'm still waiting on the refund as well as my order which was supposed to originally arrive 7 days ago

Pathetic service and abysmal customer support with robotic copy-paste responses to all my questions

A special thanks to the Takealot customer service line for putting me on hold for 2 hours on Friday while the lady I was speaking to attempted to find my order after I gave her the order number Pathetic
