Pathetic service

I ordered a Ring cam pack of 2 cameras that was on promotion. One was faulty so i requested a collection and replacement. Return was completed with no news on replacement item. i eventually called them days after the return was concluded after noticing no movement on my replacement request only to be told "sorry the supplier is out of stock" and they're really sorry and that i should add to my wishlist. Turns out the supplier did have stock on their website but the promotion had ended and the item was now R2600 more. The next story was that they/Takealot didnt have stock in their warehouse and therefore they could not replace it. another week later, i've still received wordy emails saying absolutely nothing other than the fact that i should wait a little longer while they sort out the issue. So now i have no product...no replacement...no refund. Surely, a replacement should be exactly that...irrespective of price or whether it is on promotion??? the same principle as purchasing a product in store should apply... i.e if it is defective, it is returned and they replace it with the same item even if the promotion has ended??? The terms on the ad clearly states 'Hassle free returns" and that is the biggest lie. I changed by review from a 4 star to 1 star and it doesn't surprise me that they have removed my review!!! Absolutely pathetic experience!!!
