Pathetic service

Ordered a gift for christmas, specifically contacted Takealot 3 times to confirm if the order will be delivered by the 23rd which I then got 100% confirmation that it will be delivered in time. No delivery until the 24th December at 12pm, I then called again (probably the 5th time) to confirm when delivery will take place, because I would collect at warehouse if there is a delay. I needed the gift for xmas! I get an email from Insauf Elmie stating the following: <br> Dear Lisa <br> We would like to sincerely apologise for the delay in receiving your order. <br> I am furious, because why did I spend all my airtime confirming delivery when I could have collected the item in time. It was XMAS EVE and I needed a gift!! I was inconvenienced by having to run around to get another gift. <br> The 28th December still no package delivered..I waited until the 7th Jan and still no package. Emails back and forth from Sherry-Lee Davids ( didn't even handle the complaint in an empathetic manner). <br> Sizeka Mayekiso had come to my rescue, the only competent person dealing with my complaint. She then refunded the order.<br> All my time, airtime wasted frustrates your clients and please understand that!!!!
