I wish I could select a rating of 0!!

On 31 January 2024 I logged in a return on an item that was purchased from takealot which was faulty. I requested a full refund and I was no longer interested in the item nor was I interested in the item being repaired.

Despite the fact that I selected a refund, the policy is that after 21 days from date of the logged return takealot will contact you to offer a refund if you do not wish to wait for the repair.

I called takealot every single day for an update and received no feedback besides " it will be escalated". I contact takealot on 22 February 2024 (22 days later !!!) and am informed that I can't get a refund because the item was repaired on the 21st day .

this is absolutely pathetic. the most disgusting and unprofessional service I have ever received in my life.

I will never make use of takealot ever again and I will never recommend it to anyone else.
