Parcel not delivered.

I had a delivery due on 11 Jan from Takealot. The package was not delivered but when I check the tracking on the app it said it had been delivered and signed for. The package was delivered the next day at 9am. My issue is the tracking system is the checks and balance to ensure a customer gets their package. If the driver can just change it when package has in fact NOT been delivered what other safeguard is there for the customer? In the end it's their word against mine. When the driver eventually arrived she didn't even ask me to sign anything, there is no confirmation email that package has been delivered. That is too many loopholes for me. It's not right that a customer should be put in such a position.
