Parcel not delivered

I ordered a parcel from Takealot on the 24th of December 2020, which was meant to be a present for my mom's 50th birthday present (her birthday was on the 31st of December 2020). The delivery date was planned for the 30th of December 2020 as per the website.

The 30th of December, came and passed and no delivery made. I went back onto the website to track my order and saw that a new date had been set as the 5th of January 2021, without anyone informing me of the new date.

I decided to call Takealot and preceded to send numerous emails to them which was met with different agents/consultants handling my query and corresponding with the courier company and letting me know "tomorrow" delivery would be made. Still, I have not received my delivery.

It is a frustrating process and quite upsetting at best, and I am really disappointed at the level of service I have received.
