Parcel marked undeliverable but no attempt was made!

On a beautiful day in Cape Town, I was told my order would be delivered by 5pm. So I made sure to stay home in order to receive my parcel. I had left my front room door open all morning only to receive an sms that “we tried to deliver your order but couldn’t”. No one came to my address to attempt this delivery? I had just had another delivery from another company completed 30 minutes prior yet your drivers are marking my address as undeliverable without even attempting the delivery? Really ridiculous when your delivery window is a literal span of 8 hours. You’re expecting someone to wait at home for 8 hours only to receive this type of message??
